creating and replacing some very interesting fascia

In July of 2001 I replaced a small piece of fascia board on a Frank Lloyd Wright house. Making these replacement pieces was a lot of fun because of the interesting shape. I made a template for the router and then chiseled out the corners.

In this picture you can see my two most-favored tools; a blue steel Japanese chisel and a fine tooth Japanese dado saw. When I eventually learned to sharpen my chisels my life as a carpenter evolved.
